When do I get my race number?

Race numbers should be collected by each runner from on Rochdale Town Hall, The Esplanade, Rochdale OL16 1AB

Saturday 24th September from 10:00 until 16:00 (ideally to avoid congestion on race day)

On the 25th (race day) at Rochdale Town Hall from:

7:00am - 8:40am.   Fun runners and 2-3 hours estimated time half runners.

8:30am - 9:55am.  10k runners

8:30am - 9:55am.  Sub 2-hour Half Marathon runners only.

Numbers will not be given after this time.

Can someone else collect my number? Yes, but only with written and signed consent from the runners whose number it is.  Please note you are not insured to run in the race under anybody else’s number than your own.

Can I enter on the day? Yes, entry will be accepted the day before and on the day but this will cost more. This will only take place of the race limit has not been reached.

Can I change from the 10km to the Half Marathon? No! This is to avoid mistakes with the electronic timing system and personalised number. If you want to you can simply sign up to the race again and select he option you like.

What time do I need to arrive on race day? You should aim to arrive no later than 1 hour before the race is due to start. Road closures will be in place for the races and that may add to your journey time. Arriving late will only add to the pre race nerves!

Can I park anywhere? We would prefer you to park in #RunRochdale's Main Carpark or surrounding area.

Where do the races start? The races start and finish outside Rochdale's iconic Town Hall.

Is there anywhere to leave my kit? Yes, there are secure baggage areas in the race village.

Will there be drinks on the course? There are aid stations with water and some with energy Drinks by MyProtein on course. Please see the link here for all the details.  Drink Station Details

I like to run with headphones, can I race with them? Racing with headphones is against the race rules and this will be enforced, we need you to be able to hear instructions from our race officials. This is more important than ever with the race being near water.

Where is the best place for my family and friends to watch the race from? The course is brilliant for spectators, they can stand at almost any point on the course and see you run.  Please encourage your friends and family to attend!  Try to avoid  them blocking runners race route where possible. In particular try to leave the canal routes clear.

Will there be photographers on the course? Yes, our official race photographers will be RunningPix, their photos will be available to purchase soon after the race.

My child is running in the fun run can I run it with them? One parent or guardian can run alongside their child in the Fun Run, please note that the adult will not receive a medal or show in the results unless they have paid to enter the race.
