Route Description

The Courses start and finish on “The Avenue” with a backdrop of the stunning Towneley Hall and its water fountain.

The Races offer an amazing chance for PB’s and fast times due to the course layout.  It has few turns, stunning surfaces, gradual climbs and steady descents.

The 4-mile course has only 48 meters climb, that’s a flat rate equivalent of 4.13 miles.

The 2 miles course has only 24 meters climb, that’s a flat rate equivalent of 2.06 miles.

This is a closed road race, please run to the right to allow undertaking.  This is especially important on the out and back section heading towards park entrance at Todmorden road.  We expect this to be the quickest part of the course, use the cones as a road divider.
