Hendon Brook Race is just over the half marathon distance
Start and finish: Hendon Brook School, Townhouse Road, Nelson, BB9 8BP Grid Reference 881382. Directions by Car: Follow signs for Open Air Swimming Pool & Marsden Golf Club. 2 miles from end of M65
Registration /Changing/Presentation: at Marsden Golf Club, Nelson. 100 metres from Start/finish area. Presentation in the lounge at Marsden Golf Club at approx. 2.30pm

-Runner’s time limit of 3 hours for completion
-Sorry Not suitable for wheelchair athletes.
This year the race has an exclusive entry of 200 participants.
We expect with the added prize features (see below for details) of the race it will fill up fast, so enter early to avoid disappointment.

Each year I will donate a percentage of my profits to a different charity.
This year in honour of my Grandma (Joan Mary Lloyd) I am donating to Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
This is a very worthy charity and offers amazing facilities and respite for both patients and families
dealing with Cancer and the effects of the illness.
Collection buckets may also be placed at the different events to ask for
further loose change to help with their funds.
