Maps/Route/GPX
Route Description.
Route starts in Littleborough center, turns left onto Halifax road, has one small climb before leveling off to flat running on New Road . It then turns left at the lights down a nice runnable downhill that turns to a gradual climb to the top of the road where you will see HollingworthLake. The route then runs on Lake bank road (parallel to the lake) until it joins Hollingworth Road where it descends quickly to the finish.
The Route is same route that Andy O’Sullivan has been successfully running his races for several years now. The race has consistently posted fast sub 17 minute times over the years but until now will not appear on power of 10 rankings.
The route is a fast course with all left hand turns; it has only 1 hill and a large downhill finish. It starts in Littleborough centre runs parallel to HollingworthLake and finishes downhill at the back of Littleborough station.
UKA licence and Course Measurement distance certified race.

Charity information link
Each year I will donate a percentage of my profits to a different charity.
This year in honour of my Grandma (Joan Mary Lloyd) I am donating to Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
This is a very worthy charity and offers amazing facilities and respite for both patients and families
dealing with Cancer and the effects of the illness.
Collection buckets may also be placed at the different events to ask for
further loose change to help with their funds.
